Employee Spotlight: Meet Camiran, Our Client Partnership Executive

What’s one digital marketing trend or tool you’re excited about?

I’m really excited about how AI is transforming Digital PR. It’s making everything from research and media monitoring to content planning much more efficient, but what I love most is that it gives us more time to focus on building genuine relationships and creating stories that people actually want to read. The businesses that learn to combine AI with authentic storytelling are going to have a real advantage.

What do you enjoy most about meeting new businesses and uncovering where Fleet Street News can genuinely make a difference?

I love hearing the story behind every business because no two are ever the same. Whether it’s a startup celebrating its first milestone or an established company looking to grow its reputation, it’s rewarding to uncover opportunities they may not have considered. Knowing we can help them gain credible media coverage that builds trust and supports their growth is what makes every conversation worthwhile.

If you had to explain Digital PR to your family in one sentence, what would you say?

Digital PR is about helping businesses earn trusted media coverage online so more people discover, trust and choose them.

What’s one thing businesses often misunderstand about Digital PR before they start using it?

A lot of businesses think Digital PR is just about getting their name in the news, when it’s actually about building long-term credibility. The right coverage doesn’t just increase visibility, it strengthens trust, improves online authority, supports SEO and helps businesses stand out when customers are deciding who to work with.

What’s one digital trend you think every business should be paying attention to right now?

Businesses should definitely be paying attention to AI search and how people are discovering brands through tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews. It’s no longer just about ranking on page one of Google, it’s about making sure your business is being recognised as a trusted source that AI can reference and recommend. Building strong online authority has never been more important.

What’s a typical day like for you, and what’s never typical about it?

Every day starts with connecting with new businesses, learning about their goals and exploring how Fleet Street News can help them grow their online presence. From discovering exciting stories to collaborating with our team, no two conversations are ever the same. Outside of work, I’m a first-time mom who loves the beach, so I really value having a balance between a rewarding career and spending time outdoors with my family. That mix of professional growth and personal time keeps every day fresh and motivating.

If Woya had a team playlist, what song would you add and why?

I’d add “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. It has that “let’s make things happen” feeling, which fits the Woya team perfectly. We’re always pushing forward, celebrating wins and bringing positive energy to everything we do.
