Employee Spotlight: Meet Lindi, Our Marketing Manager
Reading Time: 3 minutesOur success at Woya Digital comes from the talent and passion of our team. This month, we are featuring Lindi, our Marketing Manager. While our specialists focus on delivering results for our clients, Lindi is dedicated to managing the marketing for Woya and Fleet Street News.
Her role is about coordinating our internal voice and making sure our brands are clearly represented across all our platforms. Always ready to collaborate, Lindi brings a practical mindset to the team.
What’s one digital marketing trend or tool you’re excited about?
I am really excited to see how AI will continue to evolve and grow over the next few years. Since it launched, the growth has been incredible, and it has been a powerful tool for streamlining how we work.
For me, the most important part is how we balance that technology with human-led oversight. We use it to enhance our processes, but we always ensure a human touch is at the heart of our marketing to maintain an authentic voice for Woya and Fleet Street News.
What’s the most exciting part of your role at Woya Digital, and why does it get you fired up?
The most exciting part of my role is definitely the variety that comes with managing two distinct brands. Because I am looking after the marketing for both Woya and Fleet Street News, no two tasks are ever quite the same.
I get fired up by the challenge of taking the brilliant work our team achieves for clients and finding creative ways to tell that story through our own channels. It is incredibly rewarding to see our own brand presence grow and to know that I am helping to showcase the talent we have here.
If you had to explain Digital PR to your family in one sentence, what would you say?
I would say that Digital PR is like getting the internet’s most popular websites to vouch for a business so that Google and AI bots like ChatGPT think they are the cool kids and recommend them to everyone. It is basically using high quality articles and backlinks to make sure search engines see them as the ultimate authority in our field.
What’s one digital trend you think every business should be paying attention to right now?
I think businesses need to pay close attention to their digital footprint beyond just their own website. With the rise of AI search and LLMs, your brand needs to be mentioned and cited across high authority platforms to be seen as a leader.
It is no longer about what you say about yourself, it’s about what others say about you to create that trusted brand authority. You need to ensure the entire internet “knows” who you are so that when AI models look for answers, they choose you as the trusted source.
What’s a typical day like for you, and what’s never typical about it?
A typical day for me involves a bit of everything to keep the Woya and Fleet Street Newsengines running smoothly. I might be setting up newsletters, building lead generation strategies, or creating and testing landing pages to see what converts best.
I also spend time on social media content and implementing new marketing strategies.
What is never typical is the constant discovery of new platforms that are ever changing and evolving. I am always looking for the next thing we can test to see if it will help our business marketing efforts, which means I am never doing the same thing for long.
If Woya had a team playlist, what song would you add and why?
I would add Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac. It is a legendary classic rock track with a steady, driving beat that keeps everyone in the working zone. It brings a cool, high-energy vibe that maintains our momentum while building out new strategies.
What is it really like working at Woya Digital?
The company culture here is great and everyone is genuinely amazing to work with. There is a fantastic dynamic across the whole team and the leadership is amazing, which creates a really supportive environment. It is a collaborative, fast-paced space where everyone is encouraged to bring unique ideas to the table and help the business grow.
